THE PROCESS


SCRAPS is a branding and packaging project for a sustainable soap company using reclaimed organic materials. Using leftover peels, oils, and offcuts, it turns waste into something useful. 

The identity reflects a culture of canny thinking and practical making - rejecting throwaway habits in favour of resourcefulness, honesty, and doing things properly with what’s already there. The visual system emphasises clarity, honesty, and practicality, positioning the brand 
as an accessible alternative to conventional eco-luxury products.










WHY BE A SOAP WHEN YOU 
CAN BE A MOVEMENT?


The power of the SCRAPS identity goes beyond recognising a soap product in the supermarket. SCRAP’s visual language, honest rough marks, industrial type, and bold tone of voice rooted in Northern rapport invites the audience to be part of something bigger - an environmental movement that isn’t about being preachy, or about self-improvement, or performative activism. It’s just common sense and resourcefulness.
