Make Shape is a podcast identity centered on the creative process as something more than instrumental to the final outcome. It mires in the unfinished, shifting stages that come before, the annotations, the footnotes and parentheses. Through conversations with artists, writers, and makers, it brings the messy, uncertain middle into focus.

The identity explores how ideas evolve over time, positioning Make Shape as a platform for honest, insightful discussions about how creative work actually gets made.

AN OWNABLE IDENTITY,
INSPIRED BY PROCESS

At it’s core, MAKE/SHAPE is about those messy, experimental, inbetween moments, those nebulous explorations between states of being where new understandings come into focus, and things we thought we knew start to become fuzzy and fall apart.

I put my own process into this identity, using light refracted through glass bottles to create dynamic and unexpected patterns that give a sense of shifting focus. Treating these with gradient maps and incoroporating them into the bold, bright colours of the brand identity solidified these one-of-a kind assets, generated through analogue methods, that create instant brand recognition and are fully ownable.
