BOOKMAKING

[ongoing]
/2025

Bookmaking is where my practice feels most alive. It offers a space to slow down, to think through sequence, structure, and material. I’m drawn to the book as an intimate, time-based object — something you hold, flip, re-read. My works often disrupt linearity, embracing loops, fragments, and layered readings to reflect themes of memory, digital dissonance, and personal archive.

In addition to works like 404:Not Found and RE:MEMORY, I work across photobooks, zines, and experimental formats. These books frequently involve thorough gathering of research, either through field research, participant led workshops, or through analytical and creative writing. I use bookmaking not just to present content, but as a way of thinking — where form becomes part of the message. From reconfigurable ring-bound systems to scrolling or sculptural structures, I explore how rhythm, interruption, and physicality affect how stories are told and experienced. The book becomes both container and concept, demanding a slower, more embodied kind of engagement.

Bookmaking allows me to merge design and concept in equal measure—an ongoing inquiry into how we construct, share, and destabilise stories.
